Bahadur Shah Zafar is the writer of Kuliyaat Bahadur Shah. He was the last emperor of the Mughal dynasty in India. He was the son of Akbar Shah 2 and became emperor of India after his death. Zaheer Ud Din Babar, the grandson of sahib qiran Timur, founded the Mughal dynasty in India. He defeated Sultan Ibrahim Lodhi on the battlefield of Pani Patt and laid down the foundation of the Mughal regime. This dynasty existed for more than three hundred years.

The last emperor of the Mughal dynasty, Bahadur Shah Zafar, was defeated by the troops of the East India Company in the independence war of 1857. The British government sent the Mughal emperor into exile and took him to (Rangoon) Burma. Bahadur Shah Zafar lived his last days of life in Rangoon.
